Located in the heart of downtown Cleveland, chef Michael Symon's menu offers diners the opportunity to experience modern interpretations of their favorite Midwestern dishes. Symon's first restaurant, complete with an elegant dining room and open kitchen, put his name on the map. After opening in 1997, Symon was named on of Food & Wine magazine's "Best New Chefs" in 1998. Signature dishes including beef cheek pierogi; pork belly with crispy ears; and smoked Hampshire pork chop showcase Symon's long-time dedication to nose-to-tail cooking, years before it was trendy. The expansive wine list, which is also a focus at Lola, is curated by wife, Liz Symon.
